Job Description:
IFS is seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President of Operations to lead its Global Delivery Services for WorkWave in Colombo. This executive role is central to driving operational excellence, strategic execution, and customer satisfaction across our global service delivery functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software services, cross-functional leadership, and global operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to global delivery teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance service quality, scalability, and efficiency.
- Oversee delivery performance, resource allocation, and project execution across global teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team with a focus on leadership development, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across product, sales, customer success, and engineering to support integrated service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and achieve business targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
- Drive innovation and the adoption of best practices in service delivery methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent executive qualification is preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in global service delivery, operations, or enterprise software leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven success in managing large, distributed teams in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working within global organizations, with an understanding of diverse business cultures and practices.
